Data we collect
Enquiry forms — your name, company, email, country and the details you write in your message, so we can respond to your enquiry about distribution or dealer supply.
Dealer research survey — your shop name, country and city, the product categories, brands, barriers and requirements you select or write, your rating of the EMERGE proposition, and your contact details if you choose to leave them. We also store whether you gave consent, when you gave it, and the consent version.
We apply basic anti-spam checks (including timing and content checks) to submissions to keep the forms usable.
Why we process it
To answer enquiries, to evaluate brand and dealer partnerships, and to understand demand in the European specialist market so we can shape the EMERGE portfolio. Survey data is processed on the basis of your consent; enquiry data is processed to take steps at your request and for our legitimate interest in responding to business contacts.
Storage, sharing and retention
Data is stored securely on infrastructure located inside the EU. We never sell your data and never share it for advertising purposes. Access is limited to EMERGE Distribution and the service providers that host our website, database and email delivery, acting on our instructions.
Survey responses are kept for a maximum of 24 months and are then deleted or fully anonymised. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to manage the relationship they relate to.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out beforehand.
Send any request to info@emergedistribution.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
When we materially change how we process personal data, we publish an updated notice and raise the consent version. Responses collected earlier keep the consent version that was in force at the time.
